Damian Visser

A country boy at heart, Damian has always had a desire to create. His first foray into filmmaking was a high school project with fellow director Matt that involved many hours of shooting around their home town of Murtoa, only to have their footage chewed up by a VHS player.

A career as a graphic designer followed working with clients from a wide variety of industries from London to Melbourne. However, there was always a pull towards filmmaking and a need to capture interesting and meaningful stories. An insatiable desire to always produce his best work is complimented by his relaxed, easy going nature, making it easy for him to adapt to any situation.

As a co-founder of Akkordien, Damian has gone on to direct many videos from a wide variety of industries including his first feature documentary The Swim Kid in which truly showcases his creativity and style.
